Introduction	It would appear that I am entering my third decade and embarking on an amazing adventure almost simultaneously. Having completed a B.A. from the University of Victoria and a BEd from Malaspina University- College (now Vancouver Island University), I am leaving Vancouver Island for the first time in about six years to begin my first full time teaching contract at a small rural school some place in the vast province of British Columbia.
