Introduction	I always seem to define myself by my work but this is probably because I'm still striving for conventional publication. Cracking that particular nut apparently requires superstrength nutcrackers and an ability to squeeze f***ing hard for a very long time. In other aspects of my life I'm happy enough and don't need to squeeze so long or quite so hard. I'm a cat-obsessed workaholic, happiest when I'm with my boyfriend, my soulmate, and keeper of my shredded sanity.
