Introduction | Jenny Johnson is a pen name I use as a Christian fiction writer. In another life I am Virginia (Jenny) Dickens. In my role as a university professor, I write professionally in the areas of education/special education. Writing Christian fiction, particularly romantic suspense, I especially enjoy. My first novel as Jenny Johnson is The Taxi, published in 2012 by Oaktara Publications. I also have short stories published in two Oaktara anthologies (My Love for You Always and I Choose You). My second novel--The Inn at Copper's Run--has been submitted for consideration, and I'm currently at work on faith-based romance with a Civil War era setting. My desire is to write quality Christian romantic fiction that is worth reading, tells a good story, promotes values consistent with my beliefs as a Christ follower, and leaves readers feeling positive about their investment of time and money. I want to provide clean and elevating entertainment. If my novels can provoke thought about authentic Christianity through the actions of my characters, so much the better. |
