| Introduction | DANILO M. ARAGON is an assistant professor of history at the University of the Philippines College of Baguio for the past nine years. He is presently finishing his doctorate studies in History at U.P Diliman. His first book, Notes on Life and Learning Lessons, records personal experiences both transcendent and moral awareness. He explores the often-considered-never-asked-and-usually-unanswered concerns of psyche. Mr. Aragon is the son of the late PAF Col. Pedro C. Aragon of Bacoor, Cavite and Pilar M. Aragon of Imus, Cavite. He spent his academic years at the De La Salle University. He had a Masteral Degree in Asian Studies at the Asian Center of the University of the Philippines. He lives in Paranaque with his wife Victoria who is a social worker and a businesswoman. He finds his wife very principled, of strong character and most industrious. He has two sons, Enver Albert and Ernesto Alejandrino. |
| Interests | Prof. Aragon has written historical and political articles as part of his academic work in the university. However, these books mentioned above are not directly connected to his academic background. The topics discussed in these books and articles are from a “different source, from another point of view. The “source” aside from real life observations, also comes from a “paranormal and spiritual source”. Thus, these articles are written from a social, paranormal, moral and spiritual point of view.” This “new paranormal and spiritual knowledge and skill came back” to him sometime in 1994. He met “an ordinary looking-man” but in reality a spiritual sage, who “opened” something deep in his mind and heart and thereafter, his life “was never the same again”. |
