| Introduction | I am embarking on one of my biggest projects ever - the building of a house. This is its story. The two-bedroom brick cottage in which I lived with my husband and two children has been lovingly recycled to make way for a four-bedroom contemporary home that I hope will channel a dash of modernism, a sprinkling of Hamptons-style, a dollop of sustainability and a whole lot of home comforts.
