Introduction	I am a transplanted Canadian living in the Jewish part of Brooklyn, New York. I find my existence here to be very strange, and this blog is my outlet for dealing with the bizarro lifestyle that passes for frumkeit around these parts.
Interests	Music, film, art appreciation (I don't draw), drama, reading, writing poetry/scripts, natural health,Pilates, Yoga, running, walking, hiking, biking, animals, the ocean, mountain views, cooking, baking, people, new places, and well, LIFE.
Favorite movies	Sunset Boulevard, Touch of Evil, M,DOA, La Strada, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, The Searchers, Trust, Kiss of the Dragon/Hero/ Fearless (i.e any of the middle Jet Li films),Diner, The Joy Luck Club, The Painted Veil, The Illusionist, The Bourne Series, Remains of the Day, Sliding Doors, to name just a few.
Favorite music	Dina Washington, The Killers, Feist, techno, choral music, Italian opera and a whole lot else.
Favorite books	Short story collections (especially by Hemingway, Truman Capote, and most of all, Alice Munro), The Great Gatsby, A Fine Balance.
