Introduction	I am a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a daughter, a sister, a child of God. I am socially liberal, but fiscally conservative and that's a tough balance to maintain. I am a native Iowan of German and Norwegian descent. I've discovered that my beginnings set my path in life even tho the results may seem very different to those who went before me.
Interests	I like to learn about people and places. I do so by traveling, by playing bridge on the internet, by reading, by inserting myself into uncommon situations.
Favorite Movies	Field of Dreams, Smokey and the Bandit, Holiday Inn, Calendar Girls, Mama Mia
Favorite Music	Most anything on classical or public radio stations. I love traditional Christmas carols.
