Introduction	I have served as rabbi at the Conservative Synagogue Adath Israel of Riverdale since 1998. I first went to Israel when I was 16 years old and have returned many times since then. I studied in Israel for three years and worked as student rabbi of Neve Hanna Children's Home in Kiryat Gat. In the Fall of 2006, I spent six months on sabbatical in Jerusalem studying midrash, rabbinic interpretation of the Bible. I have lead several tours to Israel including a congregational trip with Congregation Eitz Chaim (Monroe, New York) and a Birthright Israel trip for young adults.
