| Introduction | I began my lampwork journey in 2006. I had always been fascinated with glass, but had never even heard of Lampwork. Once I began my research, I was hooked. By the end of the year, I had a fully functional studio. As a stay-at-home Mom of 2, I spend my days in the studio while the kids are in school. All of my beads are made one at a time. I use soda-lime glass also known as soft glass in the 104 COE. Effetre, Vetrofond, CIM, ASK (what little I have left), and Double Helix. Each bead goes from the flame to the kiln. They are annealed over-night for strength and longevity. You can purchase my work at Http://pickingweeds.etsy.com. |
