Endlessly fascinated with language and etymology, she speaks Finnish, English, Swedish, and a smattering of German, and is now studying French in her spare time. When she’s not writing she enjoys museum visits, console games, and playing superhero ninja pirates with her niece and nephew. She lives in Turku, Finland with her husband and daughter.
