| Introduction | Born in Kuala Lumpur on the 11th February, 1989. Studied in SMK Chung Ching on 2001 and fine art at Malaysian Institute of Art, K.L Malaysia. Graduated with a Diploma in Fine Art in 2009. He’s a visual artist with background practices in painting, drawing, and ink painting. Since then, had participated in 5 competitions, and 2 group shows. He handled with the Series of Recycle, New Age Music and New Classical Music. Chen Kin Hung has a personal charm on his artworks. Sensitivity and unique in colors. It is characterized by brilliant colors combined with simplified forms. His style is a cross breed of surrealism and abstract art. In 2008, won Consolation Prize in Issey Miyake “Essence of Life” competition, and group exhibition at Suria Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC). Apart from that, he has taken part on UMW “Beyond Boundaries” new artist exhibition, Tanjung Heritage art competition, Nando’s “The art of recycling the nando’s way” art competiton, and “Pameran Terbuka 2009” at Gallery Shah Alam. |
