Introduction	The North Shore Navigators, members of the New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL), enter their 4th season at Fraser Field in Lynn, MA. The NECBL, sponsored in part by Major League Baseball, starts its summer season in early June and plays an eight week, 42 game schedule. Each year the NECBL’s top players, who come from major universities throughout the United States, are scouted and selected in MLB’s annual amateur draft. Navigator home games are broadcast by LynnCAM TV into 18 communities on Boston’s North Shore, as well as carried over the internet via a TMZ webcast. In addition The Daily Item of Lynn, offers extensive coverage of all 44 games both home and away. The Navigators are owned by Philip Rosenfield who has committed the team to becoming a strong community based organization. Towards that goal, the Navigators have partnered with 34 organizations in 21 communities throughout eastern, Massachusetts to provide a family friendly, community night with the advent of 50/50 Community Nights.
