| Introduction | Hello! I am excited to be the music teacher at Worthington Park Elementary! This is my ninth year of teaching music and I am a proud graduate of The Ohio State University (BME- Choral and General Music and BM- Vocal Performance). In 2016, I finished my Master's of Music Degree (Kodaly Emphasis) at Capital University, and in 2019, I completed training in Level 1 of the Orff-Schulwerk approach. My favorite instrument is voice and love to sing at alone, in small groups and in choirs. I'm always working on improving my musical skills! I practice piano, guitar or recorder and play them in class. My husband also teaches music so there is often music to be heard at our house! My dog, Wilson, is 5 years old and is the sweetest, cutest puppy! I love scarves and butterflies (you will see them hiding in several places around my classroom). I am excited for all of the great music we are going to make this year! |
