About me

Introduction This New Jersey gal met and married her New York husband on the home mission field. We houseparented disabled youth and taught inner-city and rural Bible clubs. During this time, God blessed us with five children. Wow! Parentdom! We were excited, optimistic, delusional! A prodigal teen, three wartime soldiers, and a special needs child (our pain “qualifiers”) made for a rough ride. We survived only because of God, our Hope. We now live in Kentucky—home of the only U.S. moonbow, where I love fiddling along with my guitar-playing, singing husband. I love writing. My current projects include juvenile historical fiction, a memoir, and on-going letter-writing to our mission board’s MKs (missionary kids) worldwide. We are not professional counselors—only folks who’ve hurt and know how you feel, here to let you know you are not alone.
