About me

Gender Female
Introduction I live in Sonoma County with my husband, James, and our two children. My interest in sewing began when I was a very little girl, and I would play with buttons and sift through patterns, while my mother made my clothes. I was sewing by hand by the time I was in the third grade, and started working with a machine in junior high. I loved to make items like bags, doll accessories, scrunchies, stuffed bears, and quilts. By the time I was in high school, I had gained enough confidence to start making my own clothes. In my early twenties, I learned to knit, crochet, and hand-embroider. I made curtains, stitched couch pillows, and covered dining room chairs for my first place. I met my husband in 2002, and he encouraged me to pursue my hobbies and even helped me set up a room in our home for my sewing and crafts. When we started our family, I began making childrens clothing. A couple years ago, I started making matching outfits for girls and their dolls. I always have a project on the machine, or in my knit bag, or photos waiting to be embellished for a scrapbook. Contact me to make something special for you!
