Introduction Wendy Ellis received a Bachelor’s of Science in General Science from Seattle University in 2008. She has extensive experience in advocacy and policy work on behalf of young victims of abuse and neglect. She is interested in the development and implementation of early intervention mental health programs for young children and their families. Wendy served on the Executive Board of Childhaven for six years. During her tenure, she co-authored the organization’s 10-year strategic plan as well as took part in lobbying and fundraising activities in Olympia and the Seattle area. She has also worked as a rehabilitation officer at a state juvenile prison, counseling juvenile offenders who suffer from a host of psychiatric diagnoses.
