| Introduction | When I was ten years old and choosing a job, full-time babysitter was definitely on the list. At the time I finally narrowed down a career, it was one in which I could make enough money to only work part time - so I could stay home with my kids (too bad that's not the path I took!) Being a mom has always been on my mind and my number one job choice. I have grown even stronger in the choice to be a mom, now that I actually am. I am a teacher and although love teaching, I make a pretty strict pact with myself to leave when I can to get my kids! Every minute counts! My husband, Jon, is a basketball coach and contrary to what one may think, that is NOT why I like basketball. I love basketball because I love the Iowa State Cyclones and always will. I love Jon because he is Jon. Although basketball is a huge part of his life, I know and will forever know our family comes first. Each day is a journey and certainly an exciting one. It is always going and everchanging and I love it. |
