Introduction	My name is Courtney Jones and my political stand point would be a liberal. I don't have any influence as to why I would be a liberal. I believe I follow what I think is right and I am always open to new ideas. This passed election I did vote for Obama and I'm very proud of having a blcak man as president. Our culture as African Americans has come a long way and to finally see that America is starting to get over their prejudices is amazing to see. This will open many doors to my unborn children's future. The reason I'm taking US Government is because it is on my way to the road of becoming a nurse, however I am sure that I will learn a great deal in this class; and take it with me for the rest of my life.
