| Introduction | Hello Everyone :) My name is Gesfrid Rosario, this is my Junior year at Lehman and I am majoring in Computer Information Systems. The reason I am taking this course is because I'm interested in getting to know what was behind the origins of the fairytales and folktales as well. Ever since I was a child, I have read many different fairytale books that involves fantasy creatures, magic spells, illusions, dimensions, sad, happy endings and etc. I can define folktale as any belief or story that is being passed on traditionally from one person to another. Also, I can define fairytale as a short story that is mostly intended for children that includes many magical creatures such goblins, dragons, elves, gnomes, princess, fairies, witches and many more. |
