Introduction	Hi, I'm Vicky and I am a proud teacher and Forest School Leader with 20+ yrs experience teaching children. I'm a primary English lead and phonics lead, passionate about empowering young minds through literacy. My early teaching career took me all around the world and each of those experiences has molded me into the teacher I am today.
Interests	I want to improve children's literacy levels. Early exposure to books and reading can lead to better language and literacy skills later in life. Early reading also helps children develop critical thinking skills, vocabulary, and comprehension. Additionally, reading can be a bonding activity for families, and starting early can foster a lifelong love of reading. Starting to read early lays the foundation for a lifetime of learning and success. Every child should have this chance. I am also an advocate for outdoor learning. I have seen first-hand the amazing benefits of Forest School. I want to empower others to take the first steps into their own outdoor learning experiences.
