| Introduction | I am a blessed woman...I'm married to my junior high sweetheart Ben--a Godly, handsome, tender-hearted man who makes my heart sing! I'm mom to 4 precious children who are gifts I get to re-discover every day! We started out on a journey to adopt from Ethiopia, but God gave us our precious 4th child in a very unexpected way right from our home state! We LOVE orphans...I hope this blog can inspire others to live out their God-given dreams and passions. Also, I hope it can raise awareness to the plight of the 147 million orphans worldwide...that they will become REAL. James 1:27 calls us as believers to care for orphans. I hope we will all find ways to do just that. The whole reason behind our adoption is the belief that Christ adopted us when we were nothing like Him; we are so thankful He did, and we are blessed to share this unconditional love with a child we know He chose for our family. |
