IntroductionI work full time, and I am involved in a ministry called Global Change Network (a network of ordained ministers). I recently graduated from CCU and I'm listening, and waiting for my next steps. Waiting is not a new thing for me, gotta say...single forever, I'm about done with waiting. ;) I hope to open a home for homeless teens soon. My business plan is set, my website has been purchased (not up yet), and my business name has been purchased through the state. I'm just...waiting. I guess I can never be positive on what the future holds, so I will dream my dreams and let God fulfill His purpose. Sometimes the two don't match and I think I am ok with that.
Interestsbeing with friends, riding my motorcycle, tennis, snowboarding, skiing.
Favorite moviesAll time favorite is Brigadoon. Others are: Sound of Music, Anne of Green Gables, Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood, How to Loose a Guy in 10 Days, Mona Lisa Smile, Spitfire Grill
Favorite musicLove & listen to all types of music, but the best is known as soaking music...like Alberto & Kimberly Rivera. Whatever pulls me aside and sits me down to meet with God ... something that makes me feel like Moses must have felt speaking to God face to face...friend to friend, or even Joshua just simply basking in the after glow of the presence of the Almighty God. Wow, just imagine that...God isn't even in the tent anymore and Joshua didn't care...he was satisfied to sit where his daddy once sat, to breathe the air his daddy spoke into. Completely satisfied to sit with nothing but the remnant's of the Lord's presence in the atmosphere...what I'd give to wrap myself up in that blanket!!! Woo Hoo
Favorite booksThe Bible of course. All other books have been text books for the past four years, but I have enjoyed a few others. A book written by one of my psych teachers, Sheri Jones, called Broken but not Forsaken, taught me how to speak and act around those greiving. It greatly impacted my ignorant heart. :) Renovation of the Heart by Dallas Willard was good too...very simple book on human nature and the transformation process through grace...makes ya think. Also, The Anatomy of God by Ulmer...couldn't stop the tears.
