Introduction	SavantSoundz Producer/Songwriter/was born in Richmond, Virginia into a musical family. His father had a popular local band, which gave Rio access to every musical instrument that a young boy could dream of. By the age of 18, Rio was considered Virginia's best-kept secret; that's when he re-caught the attention of, one of then Missy Elliot's producers, Gerard Thomas (Destiny's Child, Missy Elliot, Nicole Wray, Lil Mo and Total, to name a few). Rio along with Gerard, Matthew Miller and Reggie Wiggins formed the short-lived production team, "The Hot Squad"/Reg and Rio. "The New Beginning" Now SavantSoundz L.L.C., Rio's production company, is on the rise.
