| Introduction | Traci Brimhall is the author of Come the Slumberless to the Land of Nod (Copper Canyon, 2020), Saudade (Copper Canyon, 2017),Our Lady of the Ruins (W.W. Norton, 2012) and Rookery (Southern Illinois University Press, 2010). Her next collection, Come the Slumberless to the Land of Nod, a hybrid of poems and lyric essays is forthcoming from Copper Canyon in 2020. Her poems have appeared in The New Yorker, Orion, Poetry, The New Republic, Ploughshares, Orion, and Best American Poetry (2013, 2014). She’s an Associate Professor and director of creative writing at Kansas State University. |
