That George W. Bush had invited me to a luncheon to incite my empathy and sympathy for wounded veterans as an excuse to appeal to my sense of military duty, after which he shook my hand and told me that my old unit was shipping out and if I would re-enlist to go with them, to which I replied, "I won't say no, if you order me to go."
