| Introduction | I am a third year PhD student who originally set out to study cascading multiple natural hazards at the University of Southampton (2010 - present). My thesis has since evolved into developing an earthquake and landslide loss model. I am still very interested in the interaction between multiple hazards. This is a new area of research and there is little information available on it. I aim to use this blog as a conduit for relevant information and to explore mine and others' thoughts on the topic. |
