Introduction I graduated from Santa Cruz High School, then received my A.A. from Cabrillo College, my B.A. from San Francisco State, and my M.A. in Educational Supervision and Administration from San Jose State. I've taught mostly grades 4-6 here in PVUSD as well as in San Francisco, Chicago, Indianapolis, Apia (Samoa), Guatemala City, and Copenhagen. I've been a judge at the Santa Cruz County Science Fair for more than twenty years. Over the years I've been selected as one of twenty teachers in NASA's first Educational Workshop for Elementary Teachers (NEWEST) at the Kennedy Space Center. I was also selected to be one of twenty educators in the National Sciece Teacher Association's Web Watcher program held at their headquarters in Virginia. Additionally, I was selected to serve as a Math Mentor in PVUSD, and as a participant in the Bay Area Earth Science Institute sponsored by San Jose State's Geology Department and the National Science Foundation.
