Introduction	Blackbird: known to some as a symbol of thievery and deceit. Catholic lore tells of St. Benedict who claimed that a blackbird flying around his face caused him to lust for an attractive woman he had once seen. Apparently his desire was so intense that he threw off all his clothes and jumped into a thorn bush to stop himself from responding to temptation. For others a blackbird (or two) is a good omen. A part of this circle of life, they bring lessons learned in meditation, beautiful song, a stronger connection with the forces of creation and the earth.

double sided. That way other things stick to the sculpture too...so it is ever changing.
