| Introduction | Creeping up on the 4th decade of life in the year of our Lord 2009. Trudging along in my surgical residency while trying to keep my real identity--daughter, granddaughter, wife, new mother, friend..... Separating myself from my job title can be a challenge. Confident that my career choice is spot on with where God would want me to be, I am in constant conflict due to the physical and mental separation from the things that really matter in life.
