| Introduction | New York, Art, and the Universe is a commentary on my experiences living in Manhattan, the art I am privileged to see here, and the creative and personal growth from simply being in the modern "Rome." My viewpoint varies from being the observer, the participant or the teacher. Transplanted to metropolitan New York in 2009 from the Chicago area, I feel like a child filled with wonder at all there is to discover. My commentary ranges from personal responses to the new art I see, and the connections I make, to formal observations and documentary purposes. Each entry is based on a visit to a museum, gallery, artist's studio or art exploration with my students or other artists. My blog is not intended, however as art criticism.
