Introduction	Hello everybody, My name is Garbine Herrera and I am your Government classmate. I was born in Chile and I came to the U.S five years ago. I lived three years in, San Mateo, California there I studied English as a second language. While living in Austin, I became a citizen of this beautiful Country. It gave me the opportunity to vote, which I really enjoyed doing. My major is Social Work, and I am looking forward to transferring to the University of Texas at the end of this term. I am a “Solid Liberal,” which I just discovered by taking the “Political Typology” quiz. I do not miss the opportunity to vote; I believe it is a responsibility as well as a privilege to have the right to participate in democracy. I am taking this class because I have to, but also because I want to learn more about U.S politics. I did not do well on the quizzes. I got 75.76% on civics and 60% on current events; thus, I am looking forward to do better at the end of this term.
