About me

Introduction	Maria Larraín is a multidisciplinary artist, performer, choreographer, and dance teacher from Chile, based in Berlin since 2012. She studied Contemporary Dance at the Universidad Mayor in Santiago after initially pursuing a BA in Arts. During her Bachelor's and Master's studies in Dance, she received the Academic Achievement Award for three consecutive years. Driven by her fascination with the human body and a desire to promote a healthier approach to dance, Maria trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine and various bodywork techniques between 2015 and 2019. In 2021, she expanded her expertise by completing a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Dance Science, Health, and Performance at Bern University.
