| Introduction | Earned her BFA in Book Art, Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design, Budapest. 2017 doctorate (DLA) from MOME (Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design). Békés is working as an illustrator, art and design teacher, adjunct professor, lecturer and graphic designer. Bekes was honored with an IBBY Prize in 2009, 2020, and in 2011 the Honorable Mention of the Hungarian Film Festival and the Award of Hungarian Film Critic’s for her animation „Tram” Animated Film in 2011, Ferenczy Noemi Award in 2012. She also has been working as a stage and costume designer for Abstract Theatre. Teaches illustration, history of illustration, technical skills, graphic design, typography.
