| Introduction | "Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up." (Picasso). With perseverance and also some luck, I've always been an artist. I never was much of a reader as a child, although I eventually caught that passion, after my own kids started reading. Reading so many books led me to wonder if I could also write. I now love writing in the same way that I love art and am currently writing a nature-inspired picture book and a YA novel loosely based on my teenage experience of living in a cardboard house in the woods. |
