| Introduction | I'm a graduate of Sociology at St. Bonaventure Univ., NY, with advanced studies in Criminal Justice at Long Island University, NY. I am a Vietnam War, 100% service-disabled, combat-infantry veteran. My life experience has allowed me to accumulate knowledge and understanding that I am now sharing through my passion for writing. I have self-published 21 books; I also publish a podcast on YouTube and this blog. My first job was Coordinator of Legal/Soc. Servs. at The House of Detention for Men in the N.Y.C. prison complex on Riker’s Island. Following that, I was named Dep. Director of a Mayor’s Criminal Justice Task Force, District Manager for one of 59 administrative City districts, and Assistant Director of President Jimmy Carter’s South Bronx Development Office. I became General Manager for a major, U.S. Navy-sponsored agro-industrial project on a Caribbean island. I then created my own small businesses in computers, real estate, and online wholesale. My life changed as Agent-Orange cancer and other war injuries now keep me mostly desk-bound, which is fine with a good computer. I am a happy camper with memories I can keep and miles and miles before I sleep. |
