| Introduction | I was born in a small farm house along side a three rut dirt road in rural southwest Lincoln Parish located in north central Louisiana late in 1946. I was the 3rd child of 4 and with the exception of about 3 years I lived in that house until the age of 18. In the late 50's my father took a job in a nearby town that required him to live inside the city limits and until I went in the military in 1965 that was the only time I was away from that rural setting. The picture I have used for the background in this blog is that house with my mom and dad posing for a photo in about 1960 that was likely taken by me. |
