| Introduction | Most of those reading this blog will know who I am and what I will be doing over the coming weeks. However, for those who have no clue: I'm Gabriella, a 22 year old student with a long break over summer. So sticking to the stereotype I have decided to 'do Europe' with my oldest amiga Mariella. For the next 5 weeks or so we will be travelling through Europe mainly by train, beginning our journey in Valencia, Spain. The aim of this blog is for friends and loved ones to be able to follow us on our journey through Europe. Where we will be going is not yet known, we'll be just as curious as anyone reading to find out! |
Why does the color blue mean raspberry-flavored?
Raspberries have a similar colour to strawberries so red is not an option. Purple would be the next best bet as many berries are a purple-ish colour. However, blue is cheaper to manufacture than purple as purple more than likely requires two food colourants. People are used to blue. Therefore blue = raspberry.
