Introduction | I am a homeschooling Momma whom God has so richly blessed with two young boys, married to the sweetest man I know and a follower of Jesus Christ. I love where God has brought us in our current season of life and pray that He will continue to lead....oh, how I have so much to learn! |
Interests | I thoroughly enjoy knitting, soap making, reading (when I have time); I LOVE cooking and baking, homeschooling; I enjoy the adventure of trying to live frugally. And strange as it may sound, I love, LOVE hanging laundry on the clothesline to dry - I know it's a little "off beat", but there's just something about the ritual of hanging clothes on the line that I find so soothing and calming. Too bad my laundry-hanging days are past for now - winter is fast approaching MN! Oh, and I love MUSIC! I enjoy playing piano - and I have a guitar, but have not yet been successful in teaching myself to play. One of these days! ;o) I also have a VERY strong desire to live out in the country and get "back to the basics" - you know, a huge garden, plenty of animals, no TV, etc. I'd love to live "off grid" but don't know that I could do without electricity. Oh well...I'm rambling now, but you get the idea.A simpler life appeal to me on so many, MANY levels. It is just a dream I have to someday live such a life. |
Favorite Movies | Fireproof!, Chronicles of Narnia - The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe |
Favorite Music | David Nevue, Casting Crowns, Selah, Sara Groves, Barlow Girl (for working out at the gym), and well...I could go on and on - I love music! |
Favorite Books | Morning and Evening by Charles Spurgeon, anything by Karen Kingsbury, Francine Rivers or Neta Jackson - again, there are too many to count! |
