| Introduction | I'm a visual artist based in Dublin. My art practice begins with drawing in small notebooks that travel with me everywhere. These are a visual repository of ideas and characters that I expand using a diverse range of media including theatrical shadow installations, etching and paper cutting. I am especially influenced by vintage childhood literature and illustration, old master etchings and Andalucian street art. My work often explores liminal conditions yet I would hope that it is open to multiple interpretations. I hold a Masters Degree in Fine Art from The National College of Art and Design, Ireland and have exhibited extensively. My work can be found in many private and public collections both within Ireland and internationally. |
