About me

Introduction	I’m currently an undergraduate student at Hampshire College and attending the University of Edinburgh for a year as a visiting student, pursuing a concentration in linguistics with an eye to doing further graduate work. I find just about every aspect of my field intriguing, but I’m particularly drawn to work done in bilingual communities on phonology, syntax, and code-switching, as well as historical linguistics. Outside of my studies, I spend my time writing, managing theatrical productions, farming, expressing scorn, aimlessly researching curiosities, giving impromptu lectures, tooling around with handcrafts, cooking, getting soused in fields, and unintentionally intimidating strangers.
