Introduction I am the chef and owner, along with my husband Kelly, of the cutest little bistro in the village of Salado. We call it a bistro because that allows us to cook whatever we want. We make everything from scratch and change our menu seasonally. We only have 42 seats inside with an additional 30 on our patio when the weather is nice which allows us to operate as a small restaurant and give our guests a very personal experience. My husband and I love food and hope someday to own a farm that supplies all of the meat and produce to our restaurant. We don't have any kids yet, just a cute little doggie named Hemingway who is as spoiled as spoiled can be. We live in the Salado area known as Mill Creek and enjoy the neighborly atmosphere. Everyone knows everyone but they manage to stay our of your business. Very impressive in a small community. Our house was built in 1985 and we hope to renovate it before having a little one. Kelly is working now on plans to remodel the kitchen, add a bedroom and bath, and turn our upstairs loft into a library. We'll see how that goes. For the moment we are happy running the restaurant and spending our "weekends" with our dog.
