| Introduction | A good chunk of my childhood was spent reading books; all kinds of books, but especially mysteries and the scariest stories I could find. I've always been an avid lover of history. I was an active member of the Society for Creative Anachronism and a weekend gamer for years, getting together with friends to re-enact history, create characters, work through adventures, and enjoy our collective imagination. Another interest is genealogy. I started pestering busy adults with questions about my family history when I was twelve years old. Over the years, I have dug through family papers and photos, squinted at faded microfilm, traveled to distant places in hopes of a few crumbling documents, and spent countless hours in cemeteries searching for stones; bugs, brambles, and all. History, genealogy, and the paranormal have fascinated me most of my life. After 23 years as a Registered Nurse, I'm now writing full-time. Through my books, I write about things that interest me with the goals of writing enjoyable books as well as bringing the past to life and speaking for those who no longer can. Twitter: @Cerydwyn13 |
