| Introduction | The Afro-American Chamber Music Society (AACMS) was founded in 1987 by Professor Janise White, Professor Valencia Mitchell, Hollywood Bowl Violist, Robin Ross and the late violist, Patrick Morgan, who named the organization. AACMS' mission to preserve black symphonists' repertoire is achieved through live performances held around the Southern California area.
