Introduction	I'm a Silicon Valley software engineer in his 40's. I was born and raised in Sunnyvale, CA, so I'm one of the few folks here that is actually from here. I've worked at small startups, midsize, and hugeantical software companies, as well as done some mild contracting. I've done work on web front and back ends, but I've spent most of my career on embedded client software, on a varying scale from little e embedded to big E Embedded. Philosophically, I'm a secular humanist, ethical hedonist, and a skeptical agnostic. So, yeah, I lean a bit Left. I also have a wonderful wife and a 7-year-old son who is officially The Cutest™.
