| Introduction | Who am I? Well, I'm bloody well not Jean Valjean, that's for sure. I'm neither a saint nor a martyr. (Though there are days I feel like the latter.) I am an above (way above) average bear who is dwelling in one of educations' trenches. And the more I think about using WWI as a metaphor for the current U.S. education system, the better I like it. I am a traditionalist. I think knowledge is cool and people should have more of it. I subscribe to the QI philosophy of knowledge. I am sick and tired of the progressive hegemony strangling academic freedom and I'm not going to take it anymore. Did I include enough cultural references for you? |
