Introduction	My life's work has been in serving in the public interest. I am creative, ambitious, outgoing, and open-minded. My personality is a "lively blend" of my inner-city upbringing and my Ivy League education morphed into a free-thinking, down-to-earth, versatile, confident spirit. I appreciate and enjoy the simple things and try to live for today. A day at the park, a game of scrabble, a fun movie, a last-minute trip to another city or country, photo-journaling, reconciling statistical inconsistencies in office reports, moving a crowd, all bring smiles to my face. I truly believe that the world is mine to explore, support, and share. MANTRAS: (1) I hope my achievements in life shall be these: that I will have risked for that which mattered, that I will have fought for what was right and fair, and that I will have left this earth a better place for what I've done and who I've been. (2) Encounter with another increases awareness of one's own.
