| Introduction | G.I. JIM is an avid hunter, fisherman, backpacker, camper and 4 wheeler. His survival skills have been honed to near perfection by spending most of his free time in the outdoors. His Eagle Scout motto of "Be Prepared" became an obsession with him at a young age. G.I. JIM is a certified gunsmith, a State of California Firefighter 1 / EMT, and also has 28 years in automobile parts and mechanics, even building from scratch several 4X4 vehicles. Having parents that grew up through the Great Depression and his growing up in a seismically active state, he came to a higher consciousness in emergency preparedness. With the U.S. dollar poised to collapse and hyperinflate and a government that no longer serves the people ,but it's leaders self interests and control, he feels more than ever NOW is the time to prepare for the worst and hope for the best. Owner of G.I. JIM'S Military Surplus and Survival, he tries to write everyday with the knowledge he has to allow everyone to survive a crisis, natural or man made. |
