When you've got water stuck in your ear, how do you get it out?
If you had been in Germany from 1930 to 1945, would you have done anything to stop the slaughter of so many innocent Jews? If you didn't know what else to do, would you have prayed relentlessly for an end to the Holocaust? Can you really know for sure without living in that time, place, and situation?
