| Introduction | I'm 25 years old, and this is my first blog. Inspired by other's positivie outlook on things in the face of adversity, I am trying to do exactly that. On December 8th, 2011, my boyfriend Dan and I got the news that he would be deployed to Afghanistan in the New Year. Accordingly an array of emotions presented itself. I am very proud of Dan, as I know he will accomplish so many great and wonderful things while he is on tour. However, there is a finite amount of fear that accompanies the idea of sending the person you love so dearly to a war torn country. So I invite you to join me, as I try my best to use humour and silliness and ultimatly a positive outlook about the great things that comes with having your boyfriend in a different country; because when life hands you lemons - MAKE LEMONADE! |
