| Introduction | I’m Kirsten Surprenant from Orford, NH. I’ve been a high school social studies teacher since 1995 at Orford High School and Rivendell Academy. I teach an integrated 9th grade American Studies class with my 9th grade Language Arts and Science colleagues and a variety of 11/12th grade courses including Global Studies, National Issues, and Holocaust and Human Behavior. I hold a B.S. degree in Marketing from Plymouth State University, a B.S. in Secondary Education – History from the University of Maine at Farmington, an M.Ed in Educational Leadership also from PSU, and am a certified NH School Principal. I am a happy hockey/snowboard/skateboard/motocross mom and wife. Triathlon is my sport and coffee is my favorite drink. I enjoy cooking, reading, losing at pictionary and am a devoted fan of the New England Patriots and the Las Vegas Golden Knights. |
